Syrian sources reported the seizure of American weapons belonging to terrorists in Daraa province.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, Authorities in Syria’s Daraa province seized more than 1,000 different weapons, including small arms and light weapons, many of which were US-made, among ammunition left over from terrorist groups.
A field source in this regard stated in an interview with a SANA reporter that the seizure of these weapons lasted for more than 3 months with the full cooperation of the relevant institutions, and this cooperation helped to confiscate and seize these weapons throughout Daraa province.

The source clarified that many young people in Daraa province have settled their situation and handed over their weapons to the judiciary in accordance with the law on carrying weapons.
The source pointed to the positive role of the people in encouraging the carriers of unauthorized weapons to hand them over to the government and stressed that the confiscated weapons included rifles, pistols, snipers, RPGs, anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons, and hand grenades.
The Syrian army has already discovered several pieces of American equipment, especially Israeli equipment, in areas previously controlled by terrorist elements.
