Zionists worry about Iran’s threat of revenge; Olmert

The former prime minister of the Zionist regime Ehud Olmert, while avoiding accepting responsibility for the recent incident in Natanz, expressed concern over the threats of the Islamic Republic officials to take revenge on the Israeli regime.

In an interview with WABC radio station, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert evaded accepting responsibility for the Zionist regime in the Natanz incident and implicitly expressed concern about the Islamic Republic of Iran’s threats against the perpetrators of the sabotage.

While expressing ignorance about the role of the Zionist regime in the Natanz incident, he said: “I am not sure that Israel did that and I advise the Iranians to remain calm.”

The President of the Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, said yesterday morning (April 25, 1400) at a cabinet meeting regarding the start of 60% enrichment in Iran: “The launch of IR-6 and the 60% enrichment was a response to the evils. If the Zionists conspired against our nation, we will respond; “That was the first step.”

Although Olmert apparently claimed that the Zionist regime was not afraid of the Iranian threat, he did express some concern about it.

He said in this regard: “It’s not really scary for us. “We are not very afraid of Iran … I do not think Israel has reason to be afraid, but this is violent rhetoric, these threats are unnecessary and not useful to anyone.”

The former Israeli official went on to call on the Biden administration to provide security for the Israeli regime, saying he was confident that the US president would consider Israel’s security.

He said in this regard: “I have no doubt about his (Biden’s) determination and commitment to the security of the Israeli government.”

Behrouz Kamalvandi, a spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization, announced on Sunday that an accident had occurred in part of the electricity distribution network of the Natanz enrichment facility: “Fortunately, this incident did not result in any human injuries or pollution, and its causes are under investigation.”

Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, also stated in a weekly meeting with reporters on Monday in response to a question about what happened yesterday: “The unfortunate incident that took place in Natanz was repeatedly told by the Zionist regime before, and these days it is heard from various sources that confirm that this regime was behind this story.”

A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stating that revenge against the Zionist regime will be carried out in its time and place, said: “The centrifuges that went out of orbit yesterday after the Natanz accident were of the IR1 type and will be replaced with advanced centrifuges.”

On the other hand, the Jerusalem Post recently implicitly acknowledged in a report that the spy agency of the occupying regime in Jerusalem, Mossad, was involved in sabotage operations at the Natanz nuclear facility.

The Jerusalem Post wrote about this: “Western sources have quoted the Israeli media as saying that the attack was carried out by Mossad.”
