Zionist soldiers arrested Tasnim reporter Muntaser Nassar in the West Bank

During the anti-Zionist operation of the Palestinian resistance in the northeast of Hebron, the Zionist regime forces temporarily arrested Tasnim reporter and his camera team. Tasnim reporter Muntaser Nassar released a video describing the details of his arrest and his accompanying team.

According to the report of the International group of Pak Sahafat news agency, during the anti-Zionist operation on Friday evening, the soldiers of the Zionist regime arrested Muntaser Nassar, a reporter and the Tasnim news agency’s photography team, in the town of Al-Sa’ir in the northeast of Hebron.

Explaining the reasons for his arrest, Tasnim reporter said: Based on our professional duty, as soon as the operation took place on Friday evening, I went to Al-Sa’air town in the northeast of Hebron to prepare a report on this operation, but the occupying forces demanded that we leave the place and not be present at the operation site. For this reason, we went to the heights overlooking the operation site so that we could take pictures of the operation area.

Nassar went on to explain how he was arrested and added: While we were looking for a place to set up, the occupying soldiers were close to us and as soon as they saw me, they pointed their guns at me. Three to four soldiers also approached me and put their guns on my head, and this was in a situation where I was wearing a journalist’s jacket and hat, which showed my identity as a journalist.

This reporter of the Tasnim International Group further informed about the body search, interrogation and arrest of himself and his colleagues by the Zionist military and added: After asking questions about our activities and the reasons for our presence at the operation site, they reluctantly agreed to release us, but the strange thing is that even after our release, the occupying forces shot tear gas at me and my colleagues, which injured me and my cameraman. We had shortness of breath and complications caused by these gases and were treated in the field.

The reporter of Tasnim in the West Bank further reported that Zionist soldiers fired directly at him and other reporters present at the operation site.
