Syrian government sources reported that the Zionist regime fired a missile at the port of Lazakia in the west of the country and that an explosion was heard in the area.
According to Pak Sahafat news agency, the official Syrian news agency SANA reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted the port of Lazakia.
Sana quoted a Syrian military source as saying: At approximately 1:23 a.m. Tuesday, the Israeli enemy launched several airstrikes from the Mediterranean southwest of Lazakia, targeting the commercial port of Lazakia.

He added: The attack led to fires in a number of commercial containers at the site but no casualties.
