Zionist organization attempts to oust Qatari banks and charities

Under the pretext of supporting Qatari banks and charities to Palestinian resistance groups, a right-wing Zionist organization sued these banks and institutions and demanded a large sum of money as compensation.

Today (Wednesday), a right-wing Zionist organization filed a lawsuit against Qatari charities and banks, claiming 1.2 billion shekels (the currency of the Zionist regime) as damages.

The Arab 48 news website reported, quoting the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, that the complaint, filed in the name of 24 Zionists killed by 130 plaintiffs, alleges that money was transferred from accounts affiliated with Qatari charities to some charities affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement or members of the movement.

The complaint, filed by the Hudin Council, provides evidence that some Hamas prisoners in Israeli jails have confirmed the money transfer issue.

According to the report, the lawsuit targets dozens of Qatari organizations, banks and charities and resources affiliated with the Palestinian Authority, some of which, according to the Zionist newspaper, are owned by some officials in Doha, whom Tel Aviv used in the past. It was introduced without a license, including by the Charitable Qatar Society.

The report also notes that the right-wing organization has filed dozens of lawsuits against the PA in recent years, stating that the organization is unlikely to pay and that its current target is Qatari banks.

“In part of his response to the Qatari financial aid to Palestinian citizens based in Gaza, who entered the Gaza Strip with the approval of Tel Aviv,” said the head of the Zionist organization, Nisana Darshan. “If Israel fails to stop financing Qatar – and vice versa [if] it allows it – the victims of terrorism will stop it.”
