Zionist officer: The army is not ready for the next war

Noting that Israel had not learned from its previous defeats, a Zionist officer stressed that the army is not at all ready for the next war.

According to the international group of Pak Sahafat news agency, quoting the Rai Al-Youm website, many Zionist military and security experts still warn of the unpreparedness of the Israeli army and its internal front to enter the next war, stressing that everything will be difficult and catastrophic for Israel if the existing disorders in the army are not rectified quickly.

In this regard Isaac Burke, a reserve officer in the occupying regime’s army and former military ombudsman said that “The October 1973 war was a major turning point for all Israelis, and we entered the war with our left foot.” Previously, we came out of the 6-day war with the Arabs with a sense of victory and thought that we were the strongest and best in the world; but we did not prepare for the next war, so we received painful blows in the first three days, and then Israel changed.

The Zionist officer continued his interview by emphasizing that the impact of the October war on Israel would be like a “picnic in the park” compared to what will happen in the next war. The fact is that we have not learned and we are not prepared in any way and we always return to the same state of indifference.

He continued that at the time, then-Israeli Security Minister Moshe Dayan said that the Egyptian army had no chance of winning against the Israeli army. But after the end of the war, it became clear that his career was not right and he was not trustworthy. In fact, it is an organized culture in Israel that repeats the same mistakes even more.

Isaac Burke said, the military situation is at its worst in decades, and Israel will be in trouble in any future war due to the unpreparedness of its military. The Israeli army has not seen such a bad situation since 1965, and at the same time there have been calls for a special investigative committee; But to no avail.

The Israeli army reserve officer further stated that there are significant gaps in the army and they are declining. The organizational culture of the army was at its worst, and we were in a quagmire in the next war.

Isaac Burke also published an important report on the Israeli army’s unpreparedness for the coming war, in which he accused army officials and officers of distorting public opinion and Zionist settlers regarding the army’s readiness for war.

The report says that the Israeli army suffers from extreme weakness and imbalance, but military officials in Tel Aviv hide this fact and do not tell the truth about the disturbances in the army.

The report also cites Lebanon’s Hezbollah as Israel’s main enemy, saying the party has a large arsenal of weapons larger than many countries, and that its involvement in the Syrian war has frightened many Israeli officers.

In his report, Ishaq Burke stressed that the biggest concern for Israel is the inability of the army’s ground forces against Hezbollah and the dragging of the Israeli army’s armored battalions into a bloody war of attrition.

Burke said disputes between Israeli generals did not seem to end soon, with spending and handling of the air force and the army’s intelligence branch always taking precedence over ground forces.

He warned in the end, Israel is now facing an existential threat that did not exist before, and Israeli civilians will be exposed to 3,000 rockets a day that we are not prepared for at all.
