With Netanyahu’s insistence; the “flag march” in Jerusalem was postponed to Tuesday

Despite warnings from the Palestinian resistance, the Zionist regime’s security cabinet postponed the holding of a “flag march” by extremist Zionists in occupied Jerusalem until next Tuesday.

The Zionist regime’s small security cabinet canceled the rally scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, June 10) after warnings from the Palestinian people and Palestinian resistance groups about a “flag march” in occupied Jerusalem. (Including the Political and Security Council of Ministers), yesterday evening (Tuesday – June 8), held a meeting on this issue.

The Hebrew network “Kan” announced in this regard that the cabinet of the Zionist regime’s security coach has agreed to hold a “flag march” next Tuesday, and an agreement on its route will be reached in coordination with the townspeople responsible for organizing the march and the Israeli police.

The statement of this Zionist cabinet reads: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu considers it important to reach a broad consensus on holding a flag march.”

According to the Arab 21 news website, Netanyahu insists on holding the rally, despite all the security warnings about its consequences and the possibility that the security situation will become critical, in the light of the warnings of the Palestinian resistance groups.

Despite Israeli police disagreeing with the flag march next Thursday, members of the Knesset from the Likud and Religious Zionist parties decided to lead the march on the appointed day.

Al-Quds Al-Arabi also wrote: Following yesterday’s meeting of the Netanyahu government, the regime’s prime minister’s office announced in a statement that it agreed to hold the provocative rally next week if the organizers agreed with the police, and that the main issue was how to hold the rally.

The statement said: The flag march will take place next Tuesday (June 15th) according to the schedule agreed between the police and the organizers of the march.

Meanwhile, Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi and War Minister Bani Gantz strongly oppose holding the rally in the current situation.

Extremist settlements and right-wing groups have called on the Zionists to take part in a provocative march called the Flag March next Thursday in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The event, which was scheduled to take place on the 10th of last month at the same time as the occupation of East Jerusalem in 1967 (according to the Hebrew calendar), was canceled due to intense tensions in the city and the recent Gaza war and popular and international pressure.
