Pak Sahafat – Yemen newspaper wrote on September 26: The Israeli regime intends to use the islands and waterways of Yemen to achieve its goals in the region within the framework of a plan that will be implemented by the UAE and under the supervision of the United States, but the armed forces in Sana’a will prevent it.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report In a report, this newspaper informed about the Zionist regime’s attempt to control the Yemeni islands and the “Bab al-Mandeb” strait with the aim of carrying out espionage, intelligence and reconnaissance activities against the countries of the axis of resistance, especially Iran, and wrote: The volume of the plan implemented by the UAE and the Israeli regime under the extensive and dangerous supervision of the United States is not limited to enabling the Zionist enemy to militarize and settle in the Yemeni islands, but it also includes a colonial plan that aims to strengthen control over the eastern and southern coasts of Yemen. From “Bab al-Mandeb” to the shores of “Al Muhra” and their preparation for the continuous deployment of the Zionist enemy army.
The objectives, dimensions and consequences of the establishment of a number of military bases during the past 2 years in more than one place, which are concentrated in the island of “Socotri” as well as the island of “Mayon” and “Bab Al-Mandeb” and also the establishment of special military units of the enemy under the cover of “Emirates” and placing large collections of weapons and offensive equipment to carry out espionage, intelligence and reconnaissance activities.”

Yemen’s “September 26” newspaper has considered four goals for this plan, which are:
1- The attempt of the Israeli regime to increase its control over Bab al-Mandeb, the coasts and islands of Yemen directly and turn them into permanent settlements and bases for the navy of this occupying regime.
2- Placing the islands of Socotri and Mayon as the main center for spying and intelligence work against Yemen and other countries, especially Iran, and turning these islands into strategic stations to increase control over the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the Red Sea.
3- Control of the international trade and shipping line along the Arabian Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb strait to the Red Sea in order to place these areas under the security hegemony of the Israeli regime.
4- The Israeli regime seeks to turn Socotri and Mayon into an advanced base to confront Iran and the opposing axis countries and exert security and military pressure in the Arabian and Red seas, which may be accompanied by naval attacks, piracy or espionage operations.
The newspaper added at the end: Sana’a anticipates this plan and has prioritized the adoption of a counter strategy to thwart this plan and expel Israeli and Emirati soldiers and spies from southern Yemen and the islands and coasts, and the Yemeni armed forces in Sana’a have made no effort to implement the military response and operations targeting the bases and barracks where the Israeli army is stationed do not hesitate and are literally part of the operational objectives for the missile and drone units of the Yemeni armed forces.
