Why did the Israeli Foreign Minister travel to the UAE?

The Israeli foreign minister made his first foreign trip to the UAE since taking office. Some analysts are analyzing this trip in line with the Zionists’ attempt to open the door to their presence in the Persian Gulf region in order to persuade other Arab countries in the region to compromise with this regime and also to confront Iran.

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid arrived in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi on Tuesday for a two-day visit. “On the way to the UAE for a historic trip,” he wrote in a Twitter message before taking off for Abu Dhabi.

During his two-day visit to the UAE, Lapid inaugurated the Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai, and some Arab media described the purpose of the trip as completing the process of reconciliation between the UAE and the Zionist regime, others saw the trip as strengthening a common position on the Iranian nuclear issue and talks with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed to form a coalition to defeat the Biden government in the case. Meanwhile, the Zionist regime’s media also described Lapid’s trip as a “peace meeting.”

A compromise agreement between the UAE and Bahrain with the Zionist regime, brokered by former US President Donald Trump in Washington last September, is called the “Ibrahim Agreement”.

Establishing full diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime, bilateral investment, signing bilateral agreements in the fields of education, trade, tourism and security are among the provisions of the UAE compromise agreement.

Following the signing of the compromise agreement, direct flights were established between the occupied territories and the UAE, and the two sides exchanged ambassadors.

The then Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that the regime would cooperate with the UAE in the fields of medicine, energy, environment and many other fields, and that the UAE ambassador to the United States, Youssef Al-Atiba, had signed a compromise agreement. He described the move as “a victory for democracy and the region”.

Following the normalization of Tel Aviv-Abu Dhabi relations, the flag of the Zionist regime in the UAE was raised and the news of the opening of Zionist restaurants in this country was announced.

The signing of the UAE Ministry of Health Cooperation Agreement with the Zionist regime, the agreement on the abolition of double taxation and cooperation in the fields of agriculture, security, military and technology are other aspects of cooperation that began with the normalization of Abu Dhabi relations with Tel Aviv.

Accordingly, the UAE became a platform for the activities of the Zionist companies and the sale of their products and services, and at the same time, the Zionist regime tried to use the huge money of the UAE for its growth and development.

In this regard, the UAE established a $ 10 billion fund to invest in the strategic sectors of energy, industry, water, space, public health, agricultural technology and the like in the Zionist regime.

“Frank Mollow,” the head of the Zionist regime’s “i24” television network, announced: The opening of this office in Dubai will make our news coverage in the Middle East, right from the heart of the UAE’s business and media, more complete and better.

Officials of the Zionist network also announced the agreement of letters with the UAE Ministry of Tourism and the media network “Gulf News” of this country.

At the same time, an Israeli hospital named “Shiba” announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the UAE Ministry of Health for the provision of telemedicine services, training of medical staff and medical tourism.

In light of this, the question arises as to why, in less than a year since the signing of the UAE compromise agreement with the Zionist regime, the regime has made every effort to expand its relations with Abu Dhabi at all levels.

The answer to this question must be sought in the situation of the Zionist regime in the region. More than seventy years ago, the Zionists usurped the land of Palestine through war, bloodshed and occupation and established their regime there. The Muslim nations of the region have also been confronting the Zionist regime from the very beginning, and there have been several wars between a number of countries in the region and the Zionist regime in order to confront the Zionist regime’s expansionist nature and support the Palestinian people.

The non-acceptance of the Zionist regime in the region after more than 70 years is still considered as the most important concern of the Zionist officials And over the years, they have made great efforts to normalize relations at the official level and their acceptance in the region, and in this way, they have taken advantage of the weakness and weakness and commitment of some rulers in the region.

The Zionist regime, which after decades of compromise with Egypt and Jordan had not been able to formally and openly reach an agreement with other Arab countries, did its best during these years, and finally the commitment and weakness of the rulers of the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and west prompted them to normalize relations with the regime.

Meanwhile, a formal compromise with the UAE and Bahrain provided an opportunity for the Zionist regime to open a foothold in the Persian Gulf region for the first time through the two countries.
