Pak Sahafat – In a statement, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement discussed the details of the meeting of a delegation of this movement headed by Ziad Al-Nakhleh with the head of the Egyptian Intelligence Service.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report on Monday, quoted by Sama news agency, Dawood Shahab, the head of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement’s media office, announced in a statement that a delegation from this movement headed by Ziyad Al-Nakhleh, who traveled to Egypt, met and consulted with Abbas Kamel, the head of the country’s intelligence agency.
He said that in addition to Ziad al-Nakhleh, the secretary general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement and Abbas Kamel, the head of the Egyptian Intelligence Service, some members of the political bureau of the Islamic Jihad Movement and senior officials of the Palestinian case in the Egyptian Intelligence Service were present in this meeting.
The head of the media office of the Islamic Jihad Movement noted that the meeting was positive and fruitful, and the Egyptian side emphasized the unity and integrity of the Palestinian position and efforts to reduce the problems of the Palestinian people under the shadow of the blockade and embargo, especially in the Gaza Strip.
Jihad movement officials also emphasized that Egypt plays an important role and we seek to strengthen relations with this brotherly country.
Dawood Shahab said that in this meeting, opinions were exchanged regarding the latest political and field developments, especially the recent conflicts in Gaza and the assassination of resistance commanders, as well as the events in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

The delegation of the Islamic Jihad Movement emphasized its firm position in defense of the Palestinian nation and its land and sanctuaries.
Earlier, Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas and a number of leaders of this movement who are in Cairo, met with the Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Ziad Al-Nakhleh, and a number of Islamic Jihad leaders from inside and outside Palestine.
According to this report, the two sides discussed various issues related to the Palestinian situation in view of the Zionist regime’s attacks on Palestinians in Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied West Bank, as well as the aggression against Palestinian prisoners.
They also discussed ways to develop and consolidate strategic relations between the two movements and develop cooperation in a way that serves the resistance and various issues of the Palestinians.
The participants in this meeting emphasized that the Palestinian people will continue to resist, which is the only option to confront the occupying regime and the Zionist enemy.
The two sides discussed the rapid political developments in the region and how to use them to serve the people and the cause of Palestine.
