US anger over Iranian missiles at Doha Defense Exhibition

A State Department spokesman issued a statement regarding the presence of Iranian military officials and defense equipment at the Doha Defense Exhibition.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International group, The United States has reacted to the presence of Iranian military officials and missiles at the Doha Defense Exhibition, expressing “regret and concern.”

State Department spokesman Ned Price said in a statement Thursday evening: “We deeply regret the presence of Iranian military officials and reports of the presence of Revolutionary Guards officers at the Doha Defense Exhibition in Qatar.”

The statement added: “Given that Iran is the biggest threat to maritime stability in the Gulf region, we completely reject their presence at this exhibition and the Maritime Defense Exhibition.”

The US State Department spokesman emphasized in the final part: “Iran’s arms exchanges can be sanctioned under various US laws, including sanctions on terrorism and weapons of mass destruction.”

The British news agency Reuters reported on Wednesday that Iran had participated in the “Doha Defense Industries Exhibition” and wrote that Iran had demonstrated its missile power in this exhibition. The news agency considered Iran’s presence in this defense exhibition, at the same time as the efforts in the Vienna talks for the full implementation of Borjam, to be interesting.

According to Reuters, a very large poster of a speedboat with commandos was installed in the Iran booth. In a booth near Iran, the American company General Atmix displayed its MQ-9 UAV, which is designed to conduct surface-to-surface warfare, including naval surveillance.
