According to Reuters: Twitter has blocked the account of Margery Taylor Green, a new member of the US House of Representatives and a supporter of Donald Trump. This extremist representative also supports the conspiracy theory known as “Saturn”.
The incident came after Margery Taylor Green became embroiled in a dispute with a state official over allegations of a US presidential election.
A Twitter spokesman sent an email saying Green had made the decision several times in violation of the company’s rules. Margery Taylor Green also issued a statement accusing Twitter of silencing supporters of conservative policies in the United States.
Green won a congressional seat in Georgia’s northwestern Conservative-dominated area after his Democratic rival withdrew from the race. In 2017, he released a video in support of the Saturn conspiracy theory, but later backtracked, claiming that the theory did not apply to his campaign.
