A new poll in the United States shows that 30% of Republicans believe that Trump will return to the presidency this year!
After former President Donald Trump’s claim to return to the post in 2021, some Republican supporters are also under the illusion.
According to a joint poll by Hill and the Harris-X Institute, 30 percent of Republican supporters believe Trump is likely to be re-elected president this year.
According to the Hill website, however, 70% of Republicans believe such a thing is impossible.
The poll was conducted with a statistical population of nearly 1,000 people on June 17 and 18, the results of which were published on Saturday.
A previous poll by Paltico and the Morning Consulting Institute found the same result, with three out of 10 Americans believing Trump will be president again in 2021.
Hill explained about this strange American belief: “There is no legal mechanism or legal basis for Trump to return to the presidency in 2021, after losing the previous year’s election. The results of the Electoral College were also approved by Congress in January.”
However, the former US president claimed in a video message about two weeks ago that Republicans would soon take control of the Senate and the White House.
It has already been reported that Trump expects to return to the White House in August (the first half of August to the first half of September)!
