The former US president has repeatedly stressed that Russia would never have decided to start a war in Ukraine if Trump had been in office, and that US officials should not allow the operation to continue.

Trump has previously stated that Russia’s attack on Ukraine was due to the “weakness” and “incompetence” of the United States during Biden’s presidency.

The war in Ukraine continues for more than two months, as well as the reactions to Russia’s action.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 21, 2022 recognized the West’s indifference to Moscow’s security concerns and recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics in the Donbas region.
