The Zionist regime also summoned the Mexican ambassador

In a similar move yesterday, the Israeli Foreign Ministry summoned the Ambassador of the Philippines, the Ambassador of Mexico, to protest the country’s vote in the UN Human Rights Council to investigate the recent crimes of the Zionists in Gaza.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry summoned the Mexican ambassador to the UN Human Rights Council today (Monday) to clarify the country’s vote against the Zionist regime.

Referring to Mexico as a friendly country, the Israeli Foreign Ministry stressed that a friendly country with strong bilateral relations should show a greater understanding of the security challenges of the Zionist regime.

The correspondent of the Zionist newspaper “Jerusalem Al-Post” wrote on his Twitter page about this news: “The State Department today summoned the Mexican ambassador to clarify their vote on the UN Human Rights Committee, saying that a friendly country with strong bilateral ties should have a greater understanding of Israel’s security challenges following Hamas’ 4,300 roclets launch.”

The move comes a day after the Philippine ambassador was summoned to protest the country’s vote in the UN Human Rights Council for an international inquiry into its crimes in the 12-day war with Gaza.

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and the Pacific Gilad Cohen said yesterday that the Philippines’ affirmative vote on an investigation into the regime’s crimes in the 12-day war with Gaza was unacceptable and ignored the actions of the Palestinian group Hamas.

Last Thursday evening (June 6), the UN Human Rights Council voted in favor of launching an international investigation into the crimes of the Zionist regime during the recent 12-day conflict between the regime and the resistance groups, which angered the regime.

In a statement, the Israeli Foreign Ministry described the Human Rights Council as having an “anti-Israel majority” and said it would not cooperate with the organization’s investigation.

On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the decision as “shameful” and “an obvious anti-Israel obsession.”

The draft resolution submitted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation called for a thorough investigation into the crimes committed. Pakistan had called for the summit on behalf of the Palestinian Authority.

The draft calls on the UN Human Rights Council to “immediately set up an independent and international commission in occupied Palestine, including East Jerusalem and Israel.”
