In the state of Illinois, “Abdelnaser Rashid” was able to gain membership in the House of Representatives as a candidate of the Democratic Party.

At the same time, Rashida Tlaib, the candidate of the Democratic Party, won the congressional elections for the third time in a row from the state of Michigan, after a fierce campaign against one of the candidates supporting the Zionist lobby and Israeli organizations active in the United States.

Maher Abdul Qadir, head of the Palestinian American Council, said: The success of Palestinian youth in this election is the continuation of the tireless work of dozens of community leaders in supporting candidates and the continuation of successive successes of Palestinian candidates in parliamentary elections, both at the level of certain states and at the level of the United States.

He mentioned: 6 years ago, there were no supporters of the Palestinian cause in the American Congress, but now this number has exceeded 10 people, and this is the result of continuous efforts and support campaigns by members of the Palestinian community in cooperation with the children of the Arab and Islamic communities to support them.
