The United States is not satisfied with the results of the Zionist investigation into the martyrdom of a Palestinian citizen

The US State Department issued a statement in response to the results of the Israeli military investigation into the martyrdom of a Palestinian-American citizen in the West Bank.

According to Pak Sahafat news agency, quoting Russia Today news network, The US State Department announced, Washington is dissatisfied with the results of the Israeli military investigation and the actions taken to reprimand some of the commanders of the “Judah Nation” battalion, and expects a comprehensive criminal investigation and full trial into the death of 80-year-old Palestinian-American Omar al-Assad.

The statement said: We are deeply concerned about the cause of death of this American citizen whose body fell to the ground on January 12, 2022, after being detained by Israeli forces in the West Bank. We look forward to receiving further information on Israel’s efforts in this area and are investigating this worrying incident with the Israeli government. There is no higher priority than protecting the lives and security of American citizens abroad. We extend our condolences to the family of Omar Asad and offer our condolences.

Assad, an 80-year-old American citizen, was killed during an Israeli airstrike on his village of Jaljaliya, north of Ramallah. He was returning home from a relative at night when he was attacked by Israeli soldiers in his village and was martyred after a clash with them and his arrest and beating.

The Palestinian forensic pathologist said in his report that after dissecting Assad’s body, traces of 10 blows and traces of redness and bruising were seen on various parts of his body, including his head.
