The Taliban entered the provincial capital of Badghis in Afghanistan

The governor of Badghis province announced today that Taliban members entered Qala-e-Naw, the capital of the province, after heavy clashes with security forces.

Badghis Governor Hussamuddin Shams told the media on Wednesday that Taliban militants had entered the provincial capital Qala-e-Naw after heavy fighting with security forces, Anatolia news agency reported.

Meanwhile, Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian wrote on Twitter: Security and defense forces are defending the lives and property of the people in Badghis. Security forces are present in and around Qala-e-Naw and will respond to any threat from the enemy.

The United States had previously promised to withdraw its occupiers from Afghanistan on May 1 under a Doha agreement with the Taliban, but later confirmed September as the date for US terrorists to leave Afghanistan.

As 9/11 is announced for the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, Western officials and think tanks, especially the US, are trying to perpetuate the military presence of terrorists by highlighting threats such as the re-emergence of ISIS and inciting violence in the country.
