According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Shihab Palestinian news agency, the Zionist regime’s Cannes channel announced that “Ada Colao”, the mayor of Barcelona, and people’s groups in Catalonia decided to stop their relations with the apartheid regime of Israel.
The mayor of Barcelona and people’s groups in Catalonia also decided to cancel the city’s sisterhood agreement with Tel Aviv.
This decision has been taken following the suggestion of some left-wing currents and activists of the Boycott of the Zionist regime (BDS) movement.
In 1998 and 2013, an agreement was signed on the sisterhood of Tel Aviv and Barcelona, and these two cities have established economic and tourism relations since then.
