The plan to recognize “Day of Doom” was introduced in the US Congress

Pak Sahafat – Some US Democrats have introduced a bill in Congress recognizing the Day of Doom in the Occupied Territories.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Rashida Talib, a Michigan member of the US House of Representatives, announced today that he has submitted to the US Congress a plan to recognize the day of misery during which 400 Palestinian towns and villages were destroyed and more than 700,000 Palestinians were displaced.

Talib, who is himself of Palestinian descent, wrote on his Twitter page: On this day, we must promote human rights and justice. The Palestinian people have been living under oppression and violent racism since 1948.

The Democratic representative added: We must acknowledge that the existence of the Palestinians is denied when the people refuse to confess to war crimes and human rights abuses in Israeli apartheid.

Talib also thanked Marie Newman, Betty McCollum, Elhan Omar and Alexander Acacio Cortez, other Democrats, for their support in presenting the bill to Congress.

May 15 in the history of Palestine is called “Day of Doom”. This is the day that in 1948 the Zionists displaced a large number of Palestinians and occupied a large part of the Palestinian territory and then officially announced the establishment of their fake regime.
