According to the bylaws of the General Assembly and according to geographical zoning, 21 deputies are elected for the president of each term of the United Nations General Assembly, and the vice presidents of the 77th term of the United Nations General Assembly are as follows:

– The African region has six quotas, including the countries of Benin, Mauritania, Burundi, Kenya, Niger and Zimbabwe.

– The Asia region has five quotas including the countries of Malaysia, Nepal, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Vietnam

– Latin America has three quotas including the countries of El Salvador, Chile and Jamaica

– Western Europe has two quotas, which were nominated by Australia and the Israeli regime.

Because in all the geographical regions, the number of quotas was equal to the number of candidates, so no voting was done to elect the deputies.

From the Eastern European region, no country was appointed for the position of deputy because “Csaba Karushi” the president of the 77th term of the General Assembly was elected from Hungary.

Also, the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, including the United States, England, France, Russia, and China, are also vice presidents of the UN General Assembly according to the regulations.
