The Mufti of Oman criticizes the inability of the Arabs to help Al-Aqsa Mosque

Pak Sahafat – Sheikh Ahmad bin Hamad Al-Khalili, the Grand Mufti of Oman, sharply criticized the inability of the Arabs to support Al-Aqsa Mosque and wrote: When will the consciences in the Arab world wake up and do their real duty?

According to Pak Sahafat news agency, Sheikh Al-Khalili wrote in an article on Twitter: As much as we are pleased and proud of the heroic position of the Muslims in Holy Quds in defending the sanctuary of Islam and Jerusalem against the aggression of the Zionists, we pray and ask God to help these heroes as much as the inability of the Islamic Ummah – especially the Arabs – We are surprised to support our Muslim brothers in Jerusalem.

The Grand Mufti of Oman stated: Instead of rushing to support our brothers in Jerusalem and investing their lives and property in purifying these holy places from the filth of the Zionists, they have taken a position of submission and humiliation and bought shame for themselves.

He added sarcastically to the UAE: Some of these Arabs are rushing to the Iftar table together with the Zionist enemy to get this blessing! Take advantage of it as if it is a booty that cannot be compensated by any other opportunity.

A week before the start of the Iftar dinner during the holy month of Ramadan in Dubai, the UAE announced that seven religious sects, including Judaism, had been invited to the country and the Arab Gulf region for the first time.

The Mufti of Oman continued: I wish we knew when this Arab nation will be cured of this disease … and when it will rise from the dead and be resurrected? When do the consciences in the Arab world wake up and do their real duty, fulfill the divine trust on their necks, and work hard to defend the sanctities and rights of the oppressed?

During the last days of the holy month of Ramadan, Jerusalem and the Occupied Territories have witnessed tensions and clashes between Palestinian youth and the Zionist occupying forces in protest of the desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first qibla of Muslims, by settlers and the Zionist military attack on worshipers in this holy place.
