The movements of the Iraqi parliament against the interference of the American ambassador in Baghdad/ the impeachment of the foreign minister were keyed

Pak Sahafat – The extensive interventions of the American ambassador in Baghdad caused some members of the Iraqi parliament to demand the presence of the country’s foreign minister in the parliament.

According to the report of the International group of Pak Sahafat news agency, some members of the Iraqi parliament demanded the presence of the Iraqi foreign minister in the parliament to explain about the “interventions of the American ambassador in the internal affairs of Iraq”.

According to Shafaq News Iraq, based on the document issued by the office of “Hasan Salem”, the head of Sadeghoon faction (affiliated to Asaib Ahl al-Haq) in the Iraqi parliament, addressed to the parliament’s presidium, this faction has demanded an explanation from the foreign minister in this regard.

In this letter, the foreign minister is asked to explain what he called “Romanowski’s” interventions in the internal affairs of Iraq and his frequent presence in the ministries and his movements in the provinces of Iraq.

52 members of the Iraqi parliament have signed this letter.

Al-Sudani’s consultation with “Al-Sisi”

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani, who visited Cairo, met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

In this meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, ways to strengthen them, regional and international issues of common interest, activation of joint committees in order to strengthen Fimabin cooperation.

In this meeting, al-Sudani emphasized Iraq’s readiness to strengthen common relations and open new prospects for cooperation in various fields.

On the other hand, Al-Sisi announced Egypt’s willingness and readiness to cooperate with Iraq in various fields and expressed pride in Iraq’s position and role in the region.

Also, during his trip to Egypt, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani met with his Egyptian counterpart, Mustafa Moduli, in Cairo.

Al-Sudani, while expressing his satisfaction with the constructive meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, emphasized the fraternal relations that have connected the two nations and expanded the path of joint cooperation in various fields.

He also emphasized Iraq’s desire to develop relations and raise the level of trade exchanges and form joint committees between Iraq and Egypt.

The Iraqi side also expressed its readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation frameworks with Egypt and consider signing a number of joint agreements during the work of the Joint High Committee that will be held next May or June.

Iraq’s desire to strengthen relations with its neighbors

Adnan Ebrahim Mohammad, the adviser to the President of Iraq, read the message of the President of this country at the conference “Transformation and Future of the Middle East” held in Erbil and stated: The political groups are determined to create a common platform and create a national agreement. The formation of the new government took a little time, but the elections brought fruitful results and mobilized national support to support the new government and implement its reform program and create infrastructure and solve the housing and unemployment crisis.

He said: The new Iraq seeks to strengthen relations with its neighbors based on mutual respect and tries to resolve common cases of disputes about border security and the issue of water and providing sufficient air defenses for all countries through diplomacy.

Abdul Latif Rashid continued: Despite facing several years of challenges, Iraq has entered a new phase, now there is a peaceful transition of power in Iraq, and we have succeeded in launching long-term strategic projects such as the Faw Industrial Port project, transportation routes, and investment in petrochemical industries.
