The growth of China’s foreign trade despite global challenges

Pak Sahafat – The official statistics published by China show that despite international and domestic challenges and increased efforts for economic prosperity after the spread of the Corona virus, the amount of foreign trade of this country has set a new record in 2022.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing Xinhua, statistics published by China’s customs show that the country’s foreign trade increased by 7.7% to 42.07 trillion yuan last year.

The data of the Chinese Customs Administration shows that the value of the country’s foreign trade in dollars experienced a growth of 4.4% last year and reached 6.31 trillion dollars.

According to this report, China’s exports increased by 10.5% to 23.97 trillion yuan, and the country’s imports also experienced a growth of 4.3% and reached 18.1 trillion yuan.

According to this report, in 2022, China has adopted dynamic policies to strengthen economic growth, including foreign trade.

The data of the China Customs Administration also indicates that the amount of foreign exchange of private companies has reached 50.9% with an increase of 12.9%.

These statistics show that this is the first time that the amount of commercial transactions in the private sector has exceeded 50%.

According to this report, China’s imports and exports with the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the European Union, and the United States have increased by 15 percent, 5.6 percent, and 3.7 percent, respectively.

Also, the amount of trade with the “One Belt One Road” region has also increased by 19.4% and accounts for 32.9% of China’s total foreign trade.
