The European Union (EU) has accused Le Pen of embezzling public property

Pak Sahafat News agency – The French prosecutor’s office announced that it is examining the report of the European Anti-Fraud Agency (OLAF) on the abuse of the EU budget by the right-wing candidate of the French presidential election, Marine Le Pen.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency, quoted by Reuters, The French prosecutor’s office in Paris announced that Olaf had received a report on Le Pen and his party on March 11.

The research site “Media Part” wrote about this: Olaf’s report claims that Le Pen’s 140,000 euros and, in total, his party wasted 617,000 euros of French money. In the report, Le Pen and his party were not accused of embezzling or embezzling money, but the report said they were wasting money on ceremonies and paying staff.

Le Pen’s lawyer, Rudolf Boslott, denied the allegations in an interview with local media, saying he and Le Pen had not received such a report.

Since 2017, Le Pen has been accused of wasting the money of its parliamentary assistants from the European Union due to the payment of their salaries, and the issue is being investigated by the relevant institutions.

Le Pen’s rival’s Emmanuel Macron in the second round of the presidential election on Sunday next week, and Macron is a little ahead of him according to the latest polls.
