The English site of Al-Mayadin network is launched

The Lebanese Al-Mayadin news network launched its English-language website on the ninth anniversary of its founding, coinciding with the recent US crackdown on some resistance-oriented news websites.

A few days after the United States blocked a number of news sites related to the Axis of Resistance and Iran, Lebanon’s Al-Mayadin news network launched its English website.

The network, which currently has two Arabic and Spanish websites, reported in a report titled “Al-Mayadin in English … to break the siege” that the network also launched its English website to celebrate its ninth anniversary.

“We were late in launching the English site,” network manager Ghassan bin Jeddou wrote in a note. We acknowledge this, but let me be clear: this was a deliberate delay. Because this was not the priority of the editorial and professional and financial policy of the squares. “We first sought to consolidate our media system without burdening ourselves and scattering our energy.”

Ben Jeddou wrote: When we launched Al-Mayadan Net in Spanish, it was a strategic and conscious decision … In launching the website, it was not a good and better order, but a chronological order in the program. The third part of Al-Mayadin is English Al-Mayadin, which initiates new stages in the discourse, presenting the content and speech of our pioneers in English. There are professions that we play in time.

The director of Al-Mayadin concluded by emphasizing that Al-Mayadin, although English, is a “small and calm step”, but it is a “firm and steadfast and rooted” step and will focus on “new generations”.

Al-Mayadin News Network was founded on June 11, 2012 under the slogan “Reality as It Is” and has offices in Beirut, Tehran, Cairo, Tunisia, China, Ankara, the United States, Occupied Palestine and several other cities.
