A bomb blast near the capital, Dhaka, has killed at least seven people and injured more than 50 others, Bangladeshi police said.
Dhaka police chief told reporters on Monday, IRNA reported from Singapore’s CNA news website: An explosion on the ground floor of a three-story building on the busy Maghbazar Street in the capital has killed at least seven people and injured more than 50 others who have been taken to hospital.
He added: The blast damaged seven buildings and three buses near the scene.
Another police officer said in an interview with the media: Firefighters and counter-terrorism police and on-site bombings are searching for the cause of the blast.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
