The devastating consequences of the election for the British economy

The results of a report by a parliamentary committee in the United Kingdom show that the election had devastating effects on the British economy.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, in a referendum held in June 2016, 52% of British citizens voted in favor of leaving the EU. Thus, Britain became the first country after more than 40 years of membership in the European Union to leave the organization. Britain’s complete withdrawal from the EU took place on 31 January 2020.

Britain did not have a good time in the post-election period and faced many problems, especially in the economic field. Controversy over Bergzeit continued between London and Brussels in the post-implementation period. Disputes between Britain and the European Union over various issues, including the Northern Ireland Protocol, remain unresolved.

Following its withdrawal from the European Union and the single market in the region, the United Kingdom has faced serious difficulties in sending goods to Northern Ireland, which is part of the country but subject to EU trade law, and has repeatedly called for renegotiation of the Northern Ireland Protocol.

But the European Union strongly opposes the London proposal and calls for adherence to the agreements reached in the Bargaining Agreement.

According to the German newspaper NTV, a report by a parliamentary committee reveals the negative and destructive effects of the election on the British economy.

According to a parliamentary report, the only significant impact of the election on British companies is higher costs, more bureaucracy and delays at borders.

The head of public spending oversight in the UK, released today (Wednesday), made it clear that the election has had an impact on business decline.

The chairman of the committee from the British Labor Party, Meg Hillier, said: One of the great promises of the election was to free British companies to give them more space to maximize their productivity and production and their share of the economy.

He emphasized: The removal of trade barriers is now more urgent on the path to economic recovery after the Corona epidemic. However, choosing now has only led to more times and more problems.

The report warns that border problems could escalate if the trade situation returned to normal and more controls were in place as planned.

Meg Hillier also said: It is time for the government to talk more about problems instead of making exaggerated promises. Boris Johnson’s government is optimistic that it will create the most efficient borders in the world by 2025. The authors of this report are not convinced that this goal has been achieved.

Johnson always tries to describe Bergzit as a successful project and rejects any criticism of it.

However, opinion polls show that most British citizens are dissatisfied with the election process and have a negative opinion about it.
