Pak Sahafat – A young Lebanese athlete, in support of the Palestinian nation and against the normalization of relations and compromise, refused to compete with the Zionist opponent and withdrew from the Table Tennis Championship in Portugal.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, quoted by Sama news agency, Bisan Shiri, the Lebanese under-11 ping pong champion, withdrew from the Portuguese table tennis championship after her opponent was announced to be from the Zionist regime according to the lottery.
She, who was the number one in the world under 11 years of age, came to lose her rank, but not to compete with an athlete from the Zionist regime.
Before this, a number of Lebanese athletes who were drawn against an opponent from the Zionist regime, expressed their opposition to the normalization of relations and compromise with the Zionist regime in solidarity with the Palestinian nation and withdrew from the competition.

In this regard, the Lebanese chess player “Sali Hamadeh” had previously refused to compete with the Zionist opponent and withdrew from the Georgian World Championships.
Another Lebanese chess player named “Maghi Qasim Fawaz” did not compete with the Zionist chess player and withdrew from the international tournament in Abu Dhabi.
Also, “Sharbel Abu Zaher”, a Lebanese athlete who works in the field of martial arts, refused to compete with the Zionist athlete and withdrew from the UAE competitions.
Before Abu Zaher, another Lebanese martial artist named “Abdullah Maniato” did not participate in the competition with an opponent from the Zionist regime in 2021 and withdrew from the World Championships in Bulgaria.
According to this report, the actions of these Lebanese athletes are in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and oppose the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime.
