The burning of the Israeli flag in Turkey on the eve of Herzog’s visit to Ankara

Pak Sahafat – The Turkish people set fire to the Israeli flag on the eve of the controversial visit of the Israeli president to Ankara and his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency report, Israeli President Ishaq Herzog is set to travel to Turkey for the first time which amid a wave of protests and condemnation.

In this regard, the Turkish protesters last night lowered and set fire to the flag of the Israeli regime installed on the road of Ankara airport and installed the flag of Palestine in its place.

Israeli President Ishaq Herzog is scheduled to travel to Turkey today (Wednesday) at the invitation of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Herzog’s visit to Ankara marks the first visit by an Israeli leader to Turkey in 18 years.

This is the first step in normalizing Ankara-Tel Aviv relations after Herzog’s victory over the Zionist regime; Earlier, Erdogan congratulated him in a telephone call, then the call continued and delegations from both sides visited openly to normalize relations.

Turkish officials claim the trip is for economic purposes, but Turkish officials say the purpose of the trip is political and that all efforts are being made to normalize relations between the two sides.
