The brutal attack of the Zionist settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque

More than 400 Zionist settlers attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning (Sunday) with the support of Israeli military forces.

According to Palestinian sources, about 410 Zionist settlers have so far attacked the Al-Aqsa Mosque under tight security and with the support of the Zionist military.

Palestinian sources say that Zionist militants arrested a young Palestinian man after beating him in the Bab al-Asbat area of occupied Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip have recently warned the occupiers of any attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The resistance, in a message sent to Zionists through Qatar’s representative in the Gaza reconstruction plan, Mohammed al-Emadi, warned that any attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque or a march on its grounds on Sunday or in the coming days would lead to a new round of clashes.

The Palestinian resistance declared that it would take up arms at any moment to defend Jerusalem and its sanctuaries.

Meanwhile, the secretary general of the Jordanian Royal Committee on Al-Quds Affairs stressed that inviting the Zionists to launch a massive attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic and Christian shrines in Al-Quds is a deliberate move to lead the region to a religious war.

Abdullah Kanaan, secretary general of the Jordanian Royal Committee on Al-Quds Affairs, told the Jordanian news agency Petra that 80 extremist Jewish groups and organizations had called for an attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque on the anniversary of what they called the “destruction of the temple.”

He said that his committee closely monitors the developments in Jerusalem and considers the provocative actions of the settlers to be very worrying and calls for the immediate mobilization of the international community and the fulfillment of its legal and moral duties to end the occupation of Palestine and hold the occupying regime accountable.
