Boris Johnson, who is fighting for his political survival, changed some of his cabinet ministers in an attempt to attract the attention of some of his party’s lawmakers, who were outraged by a series of scandals involving him.

Johnson then changed his “parliamentary moderators” task force after appointing new members to his team in the prime minister’s office; A team of lawmakers who exercise discipline in the ruling Conservative Party to make sure lawmakers support government policies.
Mark Spencer, who was the parliamentary speaker, was replaced by Chris Heaton Harris, a lawmaker and one of Johnson’s close allies, who sought support from lawmakers during the controversy over reports of parties violating mandatory quarantine laws in the prime minister’s office.
Spencer became the leader of the lower house of the British Parliament, the House of Commons, succeeding Jacob Reese Mag, who in turn became Brigitte’s Minister for Opportunities and Government Efficiency.

A spokesman told reporters: This event is about making changes both in the performance of the Prime Minister’s Office and changes to strengthen the relationship between the Cabinet, the Parliament and the Office of the Prime Minister, and I think that is what we are looking to offer.
He described the appointment of Reis ‌mag as “in line with the current changes that have taken place since the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union and in line with the post-election agenda”.
Johnson promised his party’s lawmakers last week that he would give his prime minister’s office a major boost, and four of his closest aides resigned on Thursday.
Andrew Griffiths, a lawmaker, was appointed head of Johnson’s policy department, and Stephen Barkley, chief of staff, became his new chief of staff. He has also appointed a former colleague named Goto Harry as his new communications manager.
Several conservative lawmakers, as well as opposition leaders, have called for Johnson to resign. The opposition has accused him of misleading parliament, but he has denied the allegations.
