The beginning of the parliamentary elections of the Zionist regime

Media sources reported the start of the Knesset (parliamentary) elections in occupied Palestine.

According to Al-Alam, quoting AFP, polling stations in the occupied territories opened for the fourth parliamentary elections in two years.

The right-wing Likud party led by Benjamin Netanyahu and the Yesh Atid party led by Yair Lipid are in the main race.

If either party can form a majority coalition with allied parties, it could lead the next cabinet.

The Zionist regime has 120 seats, and a coalition of parties that can win more than half of the seats is the first chance to form a cabinet.

Benjamin Netanyahu has been Israel’s prime minister for the past 12 years. The election of this period, like the recent ones, has become a kind of referendum for Netanyahu’s policies.

Although Netanyahu is under intense pressure from the opposition over his and his wife’s corruption case, he has sought to make the recent vaccination program in Israel his strength in the election.
