Facebook suspended former President Donald Trump’s account for two years; a day after his blog was closed.
According to AFP, Facebook suspended his account on the Facebook platform for two years from Friday.
Yesterday, Trump’s blog was closed and out of his reach just a month after its launch.
Trump’s restriction on access to his blog and Facebook account comes at a time when he could only make statements and announcements after being banned and banned from any social media activity.
Trump, who once had nearly 88 million followers on Twitter and millions of likes and feedback with each tweet, is now facing a social media embargo and now has no page to report his messages to.
In response, Trump strongly criticized the suspension of his Facebook account, calling it an insult to the 75 million people who voted for him.
