A US embassy staffer in Kuwait was shot in the head and his body was found inside the embassy.
The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas reported the suicide of a security staff member at the US Embassy in Kuwait.
According to the newspaper, Kuwaiti security forces were informed of a suicide attack on Saturday morning at the US embassy building in Bayan district, and security officers went to the embassy headquarters and found the body of an embassy security guard inside the bathroom.
A security source said officers found the man with a bullet in his head and a pistol next to him.
The report added that the man was a 44-year-old Indian employee and his body was taken to forensic medicine to determine the cause and time of death.
No further details have been released on the incident, and Kuwaiti and US officials have not commented.
