Pak Sahafat – The End Fuel Poverty Coalition announced that this winter we expect seven million British households to find themselves in fuel poverty.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, quoted by France 24 TV channel, Simon Francis, the coordinator of this coalition, which is a collection of 60 organizations in the fields of fighting poverty, environment and health, local authorities, trade unions and consumer organizations, emphasized to AFP: This means they will no longer have enough money to keep their homes reasonably warm.
According to this report, in the UK, electricity bills have doubled since the start of the war in Ukraine, and inflation has approached 11%.
The France 24 TV channel adds: Citizens of this country no longer use heating devices during the day, and instead of turning on the radiator in the room, they buy electric blankets and do everything to limit their energy consumption and avoid financial problems as their costs rise.
