Saudi moves to co-host Italy 2030 World Cup

Reliable sources behind the scenes revealed Saudi Arabia’s bid to co-host the 2030 World Cup with Italy.

According to the Saudi Leaks, credible sources have revealed the secrets of Saudi Arabia hosting the 2030 World Cup with the participation of Italy, as well as providing bribes and suspicious methods.

The sources told Saudi Leaks that Saudi officials had contacted Italian officials on the direct instructions of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to persuade them to prepare a joint proposal to host the global event.

The sources said that the Saudi proposals included large sums of money as bribes to the officials of the Italian Football Federation in order to pay for and approve the joint offer of Saudi Arabia and Italy.

According to these sources, the Saudi officials faced initial approval from the Italian authorities to prepare a joint offer to host the World Cup, which will be decided at a later stage.

The same sources stressed that Saudi Arabia’s proposal was based on the personal desire of Mohammed bin Salman, out of jealousy and competition for Qatar to host the 2022 World Cup and the Crown Prince’s desire to imitate Doha.

A few weeks ago, foreign media revealed Saudi plans to host the 2030 World Cup, but they stressed that Saudi Arabia faces political obstacles and other human rights abuses.

The New York Times reported on June 11 that political and technical obstacles were hampering Saudi Arabia’s serious bid to host the 2030 World Cup.

Saudi Arabia has hired the Boston Advisory Group to look into how it could host the 2030 World Cup, one of the most watched sporting events, just eight years after Qatar became the first country in the Middle East to host the 2022 World Cup.

According to the American newspaper, Saudi Arabia asked several Western advisers to help with the project.

For the past two years, Saudi Arabia has forced leagues in Italy and Spain to sign lucrative contracts and bring home domestic finals. But the State Investment Fund’s efforts to gain a foothold in the Premier League and Champions League have so far failed.

Muhammad ibn Salman uses the approach of focusing on hosting global sports activities to serve covert purposes, including distracting unemployed youth in Saudi Arabia.

In an analytical report, the human rights organization Grant Liberty described Saudi investment in sports as “sports laundering” and stated that Saudi Arabia seeks to hide its dark human rights record by turning the country into a tourist destination and hosting international competitions.

According to media reports, in recent weeks Saudi Arabia has risen to host the 2030 World Cup and intends to host it jointly with Italy. Two countries that are more than 2000 miles apart.
