Saudi and French naval exercises

Saudi media reported that a naval exercises was being held between the Saudi and French navies in the Red Sea.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, The Saudi and French navies conducted a joint exercise in the Red Sea.

The official Saudi news agency reported that this exercise includes several combat hypotheses with the presence of different naval ships and helicopters with the aim of improving the level of combat capability in various operations.

According to the news agency, the exercise was held with the aim of “raising the level of combat capability of the Navy (Saudi Arabia) in the field of various naval operations.”

The Saudi and French navies are conducting exercises in the Red Sea. In this exercise, the Western Fleet of the Royal Saudi Navy is training with the French Navy in the Red Sea.

The exercises will take place less than a week after the Saudi military exercises with Egyptian and Jordanian forces.

Last Sunday, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the start of the “Al-Shatt Al-Aman-5” exercise, in which naval units from the Saudi and Jordanian forces are participating.

A spokesman for the Egyptian Armed Forces also announced last week the start of a joint military exercise between the country and Saudi Arabia with the participation of various combat units.

Saudi news sources recently announced a joint air drill between the US and Saudi air forces, stressing that the Saudi Air Force and the US Air Force held the exercise for four days at King Abdullah Air Base. A number of US and Saudi fighter jets and logistics aircraft participated in the air exercise.
