The leader of Lebanon’s Future Movement, Saad Hariri, has announced that he has suspended his political activities.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, Al-Manar reported that Saad Hariri announced at a press conference held in Beirut on Monday: “I have decided not to run in the upcoming elections and no candidate will enter the election arena in the name of the future.”
However, he claimed, “We are still in the service of our people, our nation and our homeland, but the decision to suspend any activity in power or politics in the traditional sense will remain in place.”

Hariri also visited Nabih Berri yesterday and consulted with him on the latest developments in the Lebanese political scene.
It is worth mentioning that after Mohammad bin Salman arrested Saad Hariri and forced him to resign; he no longer has that former position and charisma in the Lebanese political scene, even among his supporters.
