Russia: NATO wants to dominate the Baltic Sea

Pak Sahafat- Dmitry Medvedev, former President and Prime Minister of Russia and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, said on Thursday night that NATO is trying to dominate the Baltic Sea and Russia will respond accordingly.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Russia’s “Tass” news agency, he emphasized that the entry of Sweden and Finland into NATO will make the security conditions in the Baltic region more critical, because this region will become a sea over which NATO dominates.

The former Prime Minister of Russia stated that his country has the ability to defend its interests and guarantee its security if Sweden and Finland join NATO.
