According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report on Wednesday, quoting from Sputnik, “Dmitry Polyansky” added at the meeting of the UN Security Council that the daily arbitrary military operations of the Zionist regime against Syria continue and on February 19, the air force of this regime carried out regular attacks on the territory of this country, in one of these attacks, several areas were destroyed. It was targeted in Damascus and its suburbs, and one of the missiles also hit a residential building in a densely populated urban area.

He continued: As a result of this attack, five people were killed and 15 others were injured, and one of the shrapnel from the Israeli missiles, which was targeted by the Syrian air defense, also hit 300 meters away from the Russian Embassy building in Damascus.
The first deputy representative of Russia in the United Nations stated that Russia strongly condemns the military actions of the Zionist regime against Syria and considers it a clear violation of international laws, adding that we insistently ask this regime to stop the military actions against Syria and avoid actions that have heavy consequences for the entire region.
Polyansky stated that Moscow’s position and view is that the continuation of such actions by the Zionist regime is not acceptable in any way, especially since many countries, including Russia, are actively providing aid and helping Syrians to get rid of the consequences of the earthquake.
