Russia: EU anti-Russian actions do not go unanswered

Pak Sahafat News agency – The Russian Foreign Ministry announced: Moscow does not ignore the EU’s hostile actions, but hopes that Brussels realizes that confrontation is not in its interest.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency on Friday, in an interview with the Russian news agency Sputnik, Nikolai Kubrints, Director of European Cooperation at the Russian Foreign Ministry, said: EU sanctions against Russia have had a negative impact on the lives of ordinary Europeans.

Asked if European nations were willing to spend more to kill more Ukrainian citizens and turn Europe from a stable region into a war zone, he said: “I do not think that is the opinion of the European people.”

On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics in the Donbas region, criticizing the West for not paying attention to Moscow’s security concerns.
