According to the report, although the number of applications for unemployment benefits in the United States increased last week, job security in the country has reached pre-epidemic levels two years after the start of the corona.

US Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen told a meeting of the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday that inflation was “unacceptable,” but that the problem was not unique to the United States. The war between Vladimir Putin (President of Russia) in Ukraine affects the price of energy and food worldwide. We are not the only country experiencing inflation. This inflation can be seen in almost every developed country in the world.

The US Treasury Secretary had previously admitted that he and other officials in the Biden administration had miscalculated and underestimated the inflation forecast for the US economy.

According to Newsweek, the US Treasury Secretary admitted in a news conference that he, along with other Joe Biden government officials, had made a miscalculation in predicting the level of inflation that the US economy had experienced since the Corona virus epidemic.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of Commerce Gina Rimondo has promised to reduce US inflation following the unprecedented rise in his country over the past 40 years.

About a year ago, the US Secretary of Commerce claimed that inflation in the United States was temporary.
