An Israeli website discusses the Saudis’ desire to buy Iron Dome missile defense systems from Tel Aviv and the secret of Riyadh’s rapprochement with Moscow and China.
According to the International Group of Pak Sahaft News Agency, quoting Al-Khaleej Al-Jadeed, the Israeli website Breaking Defense, which deals with military affairs, revealed that Saudi Arabia is interested in purchasing the Iron Dome missile defense system produced by the Zionist company Rafael in Tel Aviv.
According to the Zionist website, the Iron Dome of Israel is one of several options that the Saudi government is currently considering following the withdrawal of American patriots from Saudi Arabia.
The website also said that Saudi Arabia was seeking to use Chinese or Russian missile systems to replace US missile systems.
According to the Breaking Defense website, Saudi Arabia currently prefers the Israeli Iron Dome, manufactured by Rafael, and considers it one of the best short-range missile systems in the region, designed to intercept cruise missiles.
The website added: Saudi Arabia had previously contacted Israel to discuss the possibility of buying Israel’s Iron Dome through low-level talks, but after the US decision to withdraw some of the Patriot systems, the talks took on a more serious form, with a possible agreement reached.
The Zionist website pointed out that the Yemeni missiles are dangerous because of the accuracy of the missiles in hitting the target.
