A Russian source reported that representatives of the British secret service met with the terrorists of the Tahrir al-Sham delegation.
Russia’s Interfax news agency quoted a diplomatic source as saying that Western intelligence services had direct links to international terrorist groups operating in Syria, according to the international group Tasnim.
Russia has information that representatives of the British Secret Service (MI6) have met with members of the “Tahrir al-Sham” delegation in Idlib, Interfax reported, citing a diplomatic source in Moscow.
The source added that the special services (espionage) in Western countries are not only indirectly but also directly connected with international terrorist groups operating on Syrian soil.
He said that a recent meeting had taken place between Abu Muhammad al-Julani, the leader of the Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group, and the Nusra Front with Jonathan Powell (MI6), the British envoy and former envoy to Libya.
