Qatar: Israel should end the occupation of Golan, Palestine and Lebanon

Pak Sahafat – Qatar’s permanent representative to the United Nations said on Wednesday morning: Israel must end the occupation of Arab countries, including the Syrian Golan Heights, Lebanese and Palestinian lands.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, from Khalij Online news site, “Alia Al-Thani“, Qatar’s permanent representative to the United Nations, said these words at the periodic meeting of the Security Council.

Al-Thani also said that the solution of forming two independent governments is the best solution for the Palestinian issue.

She also emphasized the necessity of an immediate stop to settlement activity, the return of Palestinian refugees, the vindication of the historical rights of the Palestinian people, and the formation of an independent, habitable Palestinian state centered in East Jerusalem.

She considered the best way to achieve this goal is negotiation between the two sides and said that the international community should take action to facilitate the peace process and resolve all issues.

This Qatari diplomat stated that “the city of Quds is one of the most important issues to reach the final solution”; She warned against any disruption of the historical and legal status of Islamic and Christian holy places in this city.

Qatar also warned about the Zionist regime’s attempt to Judaize Jerusalem, the spatial and temporal division of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the reduction of the freedom of Muslims to pray, and said that based on international law and United Nations resolutions, these actions of the Zionists are invalid and rejected.

Al-Thani’s words come at the same time that the Zionist army has launched a massive attack on a number of West Bank cities in the past few days, killing and wounding a number of Palestinians and arresting a number of them.

A number of entrances to the city of Hebron were besieged by the Zionist forces on Tuesday, as the siege of Nablus continues for the third consecutive week.
