Pak Sahafat – Pope Francis, the world leader of Catholics, on Sunday described the war in Ukraine as a terrible setback for humanity and said that the suffering of the Ukrainian people makes him cry.
According to Pak Sahafat News agency, quoting Euronews, he said: I suffer and cry and think of the suffering of the Ukrainian people, especially the elderly and children.

The pope went on to call for the creation of safe humanitarian corridors for those trapped in the Mariupol steel plant.
Earlier in the day, the world’s Catholic leader called for peace in Ukraine to alleviate the suffering of the weary people during a speech at Easter Square in the Vatican.
