Pope Francis will travel to Lebanon next June

The Lebanese presidency has announced that Pope Francis, the world’s Catholic leader, will visit the country next June.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, The Lebanese presidency announced that President Michel Aoun had been informed by the Pope’s representative that Pope Francis would visit Lebanon next June.

Michelle Aoun wrote on his Twitter page: The Pope’s representative to Lebanon said that the world leader of the Catholics will visit Beirut in June and the date and schedule of the trip should be determined in coordination with Beirut and the Pope’s representative in Lebanon.

The Lebanese president added: The Lebanese are looking forward to Pope Francis’ visit to appreciate his special efforts in Lebanon and to thank him for his plans, plans and prayers for the establishment of security, peace and stability in Lebanon.

During a visit to Italy on April 1, Michel Aoun met with Pope Francis, the world’s Catholic leader, and invited him to visit Lebanon in the near future.

The pope replied that he would travel to Lebanon soon and made his final decision, saying that Lebanon would remain a model despite all the issues in the world.
