Palestinian “Islamic Jihad” criticizes Erdogan’s change of attitude towards the Zionist regime

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, in response to the Turkish president’s remarks about Ankara’s decision to improve relations with the Zionist regime, said that Erdogan’s remarks meant his withdrawal from his position on the regime.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, Recent remarks by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about his government’s intention to establish relations with Israel, such as the United Arab Emirates, have provoked a reaction from Palestinian resistance groups.

“Erdogan returned from his position on Israel,” Dawood Shahab, head of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad media office, told Al-Mayadin.

Shahab added: Of course, it is clear that pressure was put on Turkey to force Turkey to take such a position on “Israel”.

He clarified: Erdogan’s emphasis on improving Turkey’s relations with the Zionist regime shocks the pro-Palestinian nation with all its parties and currents.

Davood Shahab further referred to the normalization of the UAE’s relations with the Zionist regime and added: “The UAE rulers are the pioneers of this scenario.”

The head of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad media office said the UAE has a dangerous role to play in bargaining with Arab countries for development and prosperity in exchange for normalizing relations with Israel.

He stated: This haste towards the enemy of Israel can never force us to retreat or surrender.
