Pakistani parliamentary official: Sanctions strengthened Iran’s Islamic Revolution

Pak Sahafat – The vice Speaker of Pakistan’s Sindh State Assembly criticized the biased approach of the West towards the progress of the Iranian nation at the regional and international level and said: sanctions and external pressure strengthened the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

During an exclusive interview, Mrs. Rehane Laghari, a Pakistani politician, added: The victory of the Islamic Revolution made the Iranian society powerful, self-sufficient and active, and today we see the brilliant results of this popular movement in the form of the unity and empathy of the Iranian people to achieve great goals.

Blaming the hostility of the West against Iran and throwing stones in the path of the development and progress of the people of the Islamic Republic, she said: Iran has been fighting against tough sanctions for the past 44 years, and this resistance has had an impact on other nations, and we consider it a source of inspiration.

This prominent politician, who traveled to Iran last month to participate in the first international congress of influential women, said: Unfortunately, the western powers are guilty of spreading a false image of Iranian society, especially the status of women in this neighboring country, while we have witnessed closely the capabilities of Iranian women and that they play a significant role for the brilliance of their country at the regional and international level.

She emphasized: There is no doubt that women in Iran have served alongside men for the Islamic Revolution and their sacrifices for the victory of the revolution and the defense of their country have been recorded in history.

Rehane Leghari added: “Pakistan and our people are proud to be neighbors with the friendly and brotherly country of Iran and they always wish pride and more success for the people and leaders of Iran in all fields.”

She spoke about his various meetings in Iran on the sidelines of the First International Congress of Influential Women, especially the meeting and conversation with the wife of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and added: From his talks, we realized the important position of women in Iranian society and the enjoyment of social security.
